About me
Choosing a therapist can feel like a surprisingly difficult task. You’re trying to get a sense of someone you’ve never met, all from a few paragraphs on a website. So, I thought I’d skip the formal introduction and tell you a little about the person behind the therapist.
If we were to work together, you’d quickly discover that I’m a bit of a nerd. I love gaming, anime and travelling. My gaming backlog is out of control, my travel list is even worse, and I refuse to discuss how much caffeine I drink. And yes, I genuinely believe buying another game before finishing the last one is a perfectly reasonable life choice.
As a teenager, I was misunderstood and treated like a problem by the people who were meant to help me, rather than a person who needed help.
Eventually, I met a therapist who was different. She spoke to me with respect and empathy and gave me the time and space I needed. She never judged me. She liked me for who I was. After so long of not being heard, having someone who listened and treated me like a human genuinely changed my life for the better.
So, to sum up a long story, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the room, and I know what it’s like to finally get that support you’ve needed. Being able to offer that to someone else matters so much to me.
So, that’s the personal bit. Here’s the professional bit.

Areas I support
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, and it’s impossible to make a list that covers everything.
I work with adults with a wide range of experiences and difficulties, so rather than giving you a long list, if you’re wondering whether I might be able to help, please get in touch.
If I don’t feel I’m the right person to support you, I’m happy to point you in the direction of someone else.
I currently work with adults (18+) only.
